Automobile and Homeowners Insurance

Personal Automobile and Homeowner’s Insurance is available to NJIT employees through the N.J. Manufacturer’s Insurance Co., Personal Lives Underwriting Department, 301 Sullivan Way, West Trenton, NJ 08628.

Transportation

Public transportation and parking are pre taxed benefits. NJIT offers two commuter tax savings programs. Enrolling in either of these programs may provide tax savings of up to 35% up to $315.00 per month for 2024. To enroll, or for additional information regarding these benefits please contact the Payroll Office at payroll@njit.edu.

NJ Transit - You may purchase your NJ TRANSIT bus, rail, light rail monthly pass through payroll deductions by filling out a Business Pass Enrollment Form and return the completed form to payroll@njit.edu.

Commutercheck is for employees traveling on other States’ Transit Systems. To enroll please visit, login.commuterbenefits.com.

Mobile Phone Plans

Daycare

Sarah Ward Nursery

Located at 105 Lock Street. Child care and preschool programs are available for toddlers age 15 months to 5 years. The free Pre-school program participants must be
