Our office will administer best business practices to ensure compliance with University’s policies and federal and state agencies, handling confidential information with complete discretion. Our mission is to provide excellent customer service to all of NJIT’s employees by enhancing reliability through education of our internal staff and the campus community to support NJIT’s ‘2025’ Vision. We will be receptive and responsive to employees' and other departments' needs.

Payroll Services include:

• Timekeeping - Payroll provides the means for time and attendance management for full and part time employees.
• Payroll Processing - Payroll processes compensation and deductions for all employees.
• Taxes - Payroll ensures all employees, whether domestic or international, are properly taxed and reported.

Timekeeping and Reporting Policy

Timekeeping records constitute the basis for the payment of wages as well as recording of University recognized sick, vacation, personal or other sanctioned leave usage. The purpose of this policy is to clarify the roles and responsibilities of all employees as it relates to timekeeping and reporting.
