- The People Service Center is responsible for fielding and resolving HR inquiries and working with the functional areas to resolve complex requests. Key functions include:

- Personnel Action Form (PAF) Inquiries
- Payment Inquiries
- Verifications of Employment
- HRIS is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of human resource systems activities associated with employee information, retrieval capabilities and reports as well as administering and improving system processes. Key functions include:
- Requests for HR Data (Reports)
- Maintenance of HR Systems and Technology

Talent Management is responsible for hiring highly competent people who align with NJIT’s mission and values and helping them achieve their vast potential. We aim to accomplish this through integrated talent acquisition, onboarding, talent development, workforce planning, and succession planning processes that are aligned with NJIT’s strategic goals. Key functions include:
- Advising leaders on workforce planning and employee engagement strategies

- Facilitating new hire, faculty and adjunct orientation
- Providing training and development opportunities for faculty and staff
